Are you on the hunt for some free speech therapy materials?? Who isn’t?! Speech therapists aren’t exactly being overpaid and sometimes something new helps breathe life into the therapy plan.
Now, I’ll be honest, my favorite products are large, versatile, all-encompassing mega units that last me a whole year, like my cycles for phonology product, my inferencing and predicting packet, or my themed bundles (you can try out a camping, trees or bees mini-unit for FREE too!). Plus, I’m a big believer in having a core set of quality materials, ones that include visuals and teaching tools, as opposed to just cute and fun drill work. I design my materials to be thoughtful, evidence-based, step-by-step guides to help your students learn, practice, and generalize. Great visuals, combined with a solid foundation of instruction, will enable you to use the skills you’ve taught with any activity, in any environment (which equals up to generalization!!) Intentionally investing in quality materials will make a difference in the long run by simplifying your planning and freeing up your time for other tasks!
And, just so you know, whenever I release a new product, it is 50% off for the first 24 hours. My email subscribers always get a heads up when a product is released, so they never miss a sale!
But, using free products is great when:
a) You’re a poor grad student just getting started and need something, anything! (Hey, we’ve all been there!)
b) You’re working through a process of trying to see what would work best for a particular student or group (I actually have a sampler pack of my more in-depth materials on my freebie page if you are experimenting with materials and want to give mine a try!)
c) It’s last minute or you only need a short activity for the day and need something quick!
I have some great and exciting freebies on my website FREEBIE page (are you signed up for access??), but you can also find lots of goodies on Teachers pay Teachers as well. While there are many freebies available on TpT, finding the exact one you are looking for can be challenging!
