1. You start every day like this.
2. You’ve got your game face mastered when a student does something unexpected.
3. When you find out you’ve got a few more referrals/evaluations coming down the pike.
.
4. You go to the Target dollar section and just need ALL THE THINGS.
.
5. Until you see one of your students or families there (and of course it’s a weekend and you’re a hot mess).
6. When a teacher of one of your students tells you that they’ve noticed improvement in the classroom.
7. It is a momentous occasion when you get to see your full schedule for a day without being interrupted by meetings.
8. Just casually typing 7 IEPs during your 3 second prep time.
.
9. After the bell rings and the students leave, you take a moment to congratulate yourself.
.
10. And then you head home to end your day with a well-deserved “glass” of wine.
.
All of you school based SLP professionals do incredible work! Stay positive and rock this school year!
