If you follow my blog or store, you might know that one of my bestselling items is my WH Questions Interactive Binder. I personally use it almost every day for a large variety of targets.
Lately I’ve had an influx of kiddos with goals for answering “what doing” questions or identifying actions/verbs in pictures. I also just craved different pictures, places, and stimulus items. So, I created a second WH Questions binder!
This binder targets “who”, “what doing”, and “where” questions.
This interactive book will help teach your students how to answer WH questions. You students will learn that “who” means a person, “where” means a place, and “what doing” means an action. They will be practicing this skill with simple pictures, practicing everything in the here and now instead of answering hypothetical questions!
One bonus is that you only have to assemble this product once, and then you can grab and use it forever!!
How does this book work?
Each page has a scene with a person (either a girl or boy) doing an action. For example, page 1 has a boy sleeping on a bench. Below each picture is a sentence strip with three interactive, Velcro ready boxes. For example, “(who) is (doing what) on (where). Your students will find the correct “who” icon card and stick it to the “who” space (e.g. the boy) and continue with what doing and where. Then, the sentence strip will describe the picture (e.g. A boy is sleeping on a bench.)
Included is:
-24 scene pages
-8 backgrounds and 8 people doing various actions that rotate throughout
-24 icons for each place, person (4 “the boy” cards and 4 “the girl” cards), and actions
-additional page to identify what season it is in the picture and point to icons describing how you know
-icon storage page
-leveled directions
-introduction pages (for teaching) including sorting and directions for the students
-who, what, when, what doing, where, why, and how icons
-4 bonus pages with smaller pictures and the “who”, “what doing”, or “where” icons randomized to make sure your students understand!

You will need a binder, lamination, and Velcro to assemble. Or, use a binding machine.
