Speech Sound Cards Freebie

Slide2

I LOVE visuals. All day, every day, it is all about visuals! I needed a way to organize cards to help my students with apraxia or articulation goals sooo I made these. I love how they turned out and now I use them every day! Plus bonus, the graphics match one of my favorite, most used products! Read on 🙂

This free packet contains cards for the following speech sounds: b, p, m, h, w, y, d, n, t, k, f, g, j, sh, ch, l, v, r, s, z, and th. Additionally, there are cards for the following vowels: uh, ah, ee, oh, and oh.

On each card is a picture of a mouth showing how to produce the sound, as well as a picture to help remind your students what sound they are working on! For example, the /b/ sound card has a ball so you can verbally prompt with “buh buh buh like a ball bouncing”.

At the end of the packet, I’ve included a table with all of the sounds and their child friendly names that correspond with the pictures on each card!

I keep these cards on a ring and use them daily in my articulation therapy!

If this would be useful for you, download this packet for free in my Teachers Pay Teachers store here.

If this works for your caseload, considering checking out Say It! Trains, a packet to target apraxia, articulation, phonological awareness, and more!

This packet uses the same graphics per speech sound so it would work great in conjunction with these cards! Click here to check out my Say It! Trains Apraxia/Articulation packet.

Thank you for sharing these sound cue visuals. I plan to use these to cue my students and to give out to a few teachers to help with carryover.

Shannon, these are great! I have put the Say It! Trains on my wishlist as that is a resource that would be very helpful to me. Just hoping we get a little $$ from the PTO as then I wouldn’t have to be spending more of my own money! Thanks for sharing!

I LOVE THESE CARDS!!!!!! I have two severely apraxic little boys on my practicum caseload and these cards have really helped them. The visuals for the mouth shape and the picture cue are perfect!! Would you be able to add a few more cards for the diphthongs? Thank you so much for such a terrific product!!
