    I love that this resource combines different kinds of resources–sentence combining, reading comprehension, etc. It’s a great themed unit!

    I love using numerous pages in this mini-unit to target artic and language skills. The WH questions page and prompts for how to describe items are great cues for students working on expressive and receptive language goals. I also love to use the Redwood passage for students targeting /r/ and /s/. The real photos for all visuals is very engaging for students as well.

    I love how this unit incorporated so many goal (vocabulary, prefixes, story grammar, etc.) all in engaging stories. The pages are easy to read and not overcrowded, while still looking great. I easily used these for most of my older caseload – 3rd grade up to high school level.
