    Love this! I am so excited about using a themed bundle that works for basically my entire caseload! Some of the activities are below what my students need, but it is a good still a good opportunity for when students need a quick confidence booster. The activities that are level-appropriate for my students are well thought out and organized.

    This is a surprisingly comprehensive freebie. It’s another fantastic Speechy Musing’s Language Unit resource which to addresses a wide variety of goals. Shannon’s resources are meaty, no unnecessary fluff materials. They have clean lines with photos and illustrations that are not too juvenile so they are fine for younger and older students. This Unit, like others I’ve used is especially good for older elementary students. Thank you for generously providing this freebie.

    Loved this activity to work on with my younger students. After reviewing what they already know about bees, they were able to help read the text. It was a great activity for my lower level readers who could recognize the sight words and my higher level readers who could decode novel vocabulary. I loved the extension activities that went along with this as well.

    These language units are great, there are so many goals targeted! I like the structure of the unit. The real photos are helpful and engaging for my students. The texts are interesting and the leveled approach allows me to modify depending on the students’ capabilities. For the Bees Unit, I specifically liked the “adding a detail” page, as I often work with my students on expanding sentences.
