Semantic mapping, or describing different features of items (like their category, function, location, color, etc…), is an effective, research-supported way to increase vocabulary skills of your students!
This resource includes describing visuals, a blank describing/defining worksheet, and 70 one sheet, no-prep describing worksheets.
There is also a blank describing worksheet included so that you can customize the worksheets with motivating, interesting, or themed items to describe for your own caseload.
Last, the entire resource is included in a Google Slides™️ format to make teletherapy or distance learning even easier!
The objects shown on the worksheets are all nouns from the following categories:
Animals, toys, vehicles, plants, insects, tools, electronics, clothing, food, furniture, body parts, places, sports, and instruments.
