Would you like to target functional, high frequency words in your articulation therapy? This resource will help you target words your students actually use like “was” and “these” instead of random, noun-based targets like “zebra” or “zucchini”. Data sheets are also included!
This resource includes printables to target Z in isolation, syllables, words, phrases, sentences, and in reading! It is important to note that only medial and final position words are included as there weren’t any high quality, high frequency words with initial /z/. The worksheets work incredibly well for short, drill-based articulation sessions!

- Reading passages
Most of the pages are in black & white for easy printing with the exception of a few pages that utilize real pictures (and the colored binder cover pages). There is a focus on literacy throughout.
In addition, the worksheets include simple interactive features like editable text boxes and check boxes for easier use on your computer or in teletherapy sessions!

Love the high frequency word approach.

It’s so hard to find quality /z/ materials and I love that this focuses on medial and final positions since those are the functional ones. Words like “was” and “these” are words my students actually say every day. The worksheets are easy to grab and go which is exactly what I need on my busy days.
