Semantic mapping, or describing different features of items (like their category, function, location, color, etc…), is a great way to increase vocabulary skills of your students! This FREE resource will make this skill easy to teach in your therapy! It can also be used as a no print resource making it perfect for teletherapy!
The file includes 10 “describe it” pages.
Each page has 1 real picture of an item (ex: boat, basketball, pizza, dog) from a variety of categories.
It also includes a visual to describe 5 different features about each item:
- group/category, action, place, parts, and appearance.
Each feature has a clear visual/symbol to go along with it.
There is also a text box on each page so you can easily type directly on the PDF.
This freebie is a sample of my One Sheet Real Picture Describing resource! The full resource includes 70 pages of worksheets, two blank graphic organizers (so you can add your own pictures easily!), and the visuals from the worksheets.
