I used the problem-solving section with real pictures for my 3rd and 4th grade groups and they had such great discussions. The Halloween scenarios made the reasoning tasks feel exciting rather than clinical. My students were genuinely thinking through each situation.

I run a small private practice and seasonal resources like this make such a difference in client engagement. The Halloween activities were age-appropriate for my elementary clients and the language targets were well chosen. Families noticed how much their children enjoyed the themed sessions.

    Julie E. – June 29, 2025

The Halloween theme is engaging and my students loved it. The activities target good skills. My only wish is that the unit included a few more pages so I could stretch it through the full month of October without repeating any activities. I ended up supplementing with my own materials for the last week.

    Julie M. – July 13, 2025

I have a caseload of over 60 students across K-5 and this Halloween unit worked with almost all of them. I used the simpler sequencing and vocabulary pages with my younger kids and the compare/contrast and narrative sections with my older students. Having one themed resource that spans that many grade levels saved me hours of planning. The spooky real pictures for problem-solving were the highlight for most of my groups. They loved analyzing the scenarios and explaining their thinking. This has become an annual tradition in my therapy room and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

    Tina M. – August 22, 2025

This Halloween unit completely transformed my October therapy sessions. I used the vocabulary activities on Mondays, the sequencing and comprehension pages on Wednesdays, and the creative narratives and problem-solving on Fridays. Every group was engaged, every session was productive, and I didn’t spend a single minute prepping. The real pictures in the problem-solving section were my students’ favorite because they got to analyze actual spooky scenarios. I’ve already added this to my October planning for next year. If you work with elementary or middle school students, this is a must-have for the Halloween season.
