Editable Monthly Newsletter Template for Preschool and Young Students

Need an easy way to stay in contact with parents and families? I did too. So I created these awesome newsletters! They were specific to what I covered each month in speech. I wrote a book idea for the month, some vocabulary, and even a fun idea parents could do at home to reinforce themes and ideas! I did this for months and months and loved the system, but wanted to figure out a way to share the love with all of you! So I made them editable! Yes, you got that right. The themes included are: Back to School/All About Me, Fall/Halloween, Thanksgiving, Winter, Polar Animals, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Spring, Insects, Summer, Camping, and Ice Cream!

For each month (September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May, June, July, and August), I’ve included the following in this editable newsletter template for preschool kids and young elementary students:

◈1 completely filled out newsletter (what I send out, most appropriate for a younger, pre-k crowd)

◈1 editable, filled out newsletter (edit any text/headers)

◈1 newsletter with just headers

◈1 newsletter with no text/headers (just boxes)

◈1 blank newsletter, just graphics

◈1 page of monthly vocabulary with pictures

 

For each month, there are SIX slides, with varying degrees of text and customization. One of them is a vocabulary page with pictures. Check out some examples for December below:

VERSION ONE: This is the exact newsletter I give out. The information is probably best for a pre-k crowd.

VERSION TWO: This is the same thing, but the main text boxes are customizable. You can erase any part you’d like and customize to fit your caseload!

VERSION TWO: This version allows you to keep the headers shown above, but customize any text you want in the boxes.

VERSION THREE: No headers! Write anything you want about anything you want!

VERSION FOUR: Totally blank. Great to write a note, or get creative if you want to do something totally different!

VOCABULARY PAGE: Each month includes a page like this, with 9 relevant vocabulary words and pictures. I tried to include a good mix of words, not just nouns.
