Dress Pants Yoga Pants – A Review

I am all about comfy clothes. Seriously. I swear I shop by feeling things before looking at things. If it isn’t soft, I don’t want it!  Typically, this makes dressing professional kind of tricky. I hate tight things, or not stretchy things, or scratchy things. Life is too short to wear uncomfortable clothing. I saw a post from Natalie Snyders about yoga pants dress pants and finally caved. Let me tell you – I wish I had bought them earlier. As in the day I heard of them. They changed my life and will change yours too!

First, the basics. Betabrand is a different kind of online clothing website. They are a clothing brand but they also do crowdfunding for exciting new clothing styles. They are constantly coming up with new things and from the pieces I’ve seen and purchased, are all about making quality clothing that is incredibly comfortable.

I purchased three items from them that I’ll share about! I don’t love buying things online because sizing can be tricky (especially for pants) but gave it a go and didn’t even have to return or exchange anything! Success!

1) Dress Pant Yoga Pants – This is what I came to purchase. I ended up buying straight leg and in grey. It’s a dark grey which I like! I’m 5’4″ and ordered a medium petite and they fit perfectly!! The material is thick and the pants are actually more comfortable than my yoga pants because they are soft and fit a little looser. I plan to buy more colors in the exact same style because it’s just perfect.

2) Namaste Britches: I am a lucky duck that actually doesn’t have to wear dress pants to work. We can wear jeans every day! I do like dressing up a bit more for certain meetings and such, but in the past have worn jeans to work most of the time. When I pulled these jeans out of the bag they came in, I thought they looked too straight for my body type (I have larger, curvy hips) but once I stuck I leg in I knew they would work. They are as stretchy and comfortable as they claim (although not as comfy as the dress pant yoga pants). They also look pretty classy and professional as far as jeans go due to the nice coloring/wash. They are a bit darker and look very nice! About sizing, I ordered the same size I wear in my day to day jeans. I was torn on this because my day to day jeans are a bit tight and uncomfortable, but due to the stretch in these jeans, the same size was absolutely perfect.

3) Sunrise-To-Sunset Travel Shirt: I got this shirt in black. It’s in a great breathable material. The neckline is bit high/professional for me (I don’t normally wear button downs) but I think it will be perfect for those IEP meetings I want to look a little dressier for!  It was really true to size.

I was so impressed with everything about Betabrand and the clothing I received. I’ve heard they have a fabulous and easy return process however I didn’t even have to use it!
