SLP Blogger Secret Santa!

When I started blogging, I had no idea what I was getting myself into… and I mean this in the most wonderful way possible. Through blogging, I have gotten very close with many fellow bloggers. I proudly hung many of their Christmas cards in my apartment and think about them often.

A group of us decided to do a Secret Santa gift exchange this year and it was SO.MUCH.FUN.

Thanks to the amazing Speech Time Fun for the adorable graphic!

The group of us used Elfster to switch names (thanks to Kristin from Simply Speech for setting it all up) and the website couldn’t have been easier! We were able to create general or specific wish lists too!

I was THRILLED to see that I drew Jenn from Crazy Speech World. I am a HUGE fan of her blog and was excited to find something for her.

About a week after I sent out her present, I got a package in the mail and tore into it like a 4 year old!

My present was Nicole from Allison’s Speech Peeps! I’m in love with her blog and products, and the gift she gave me!!

I got…

A Starbucks gift card (which sadly is almost all gone)… We have a Starbucks practically in our backyard so it’s very tempting!

And a personalized SLP clipboard! The color scheme on it is SO me and it will definitely be used at my externship this semester!

Thanks for reading, and to each and every one of the amazing SLPs that I’ve gotten to know over the last year!

  1. […] Cue super snazzy scarf (and my snazzy face selfie).  Someone knows me well.  Chevron?  check.  Garnet and Gold?  check.  Infinity scarf?  check check.  I am in love!  The best part of this is that the scarf is from this cute Etsy Store called Twelve2, and the owner donates all proceeds to adoption families in Mississippi and students in Nicaragua.  How amazing is that?  Plus my Secret Santa was a tricky one.  She didn’t tell me who she was in her package.  So I had to figure it out myself….I love a good inference activity.  Wanna know who it was?  Cause she is pretty fabulous…check her out here.
